2112 – A Tribute to Rush is a group of four talented musicians paying tribute to one of Canada’s greatest rock bands, Rush.  In 2007, 2112 was chosen to represent Canada in a Global television documentary called Tribute Bands:  For the Love of Rush.  The four part documentary originally aired on Global’s E! Channel and is currently in heavy rotation on the IFC.  2112 continues to play all across Ontario and has played venues such as the legendary B.B. King Blues Club in New York City.

Carl Korody, born in St. Catharines, grew up in Burlington where he attended The public schools of W.E. Brekon and Pineland, and went to Nelson and Lord Elgin High schools. He Joined the Burlington Teen Tour Band in 1964 and went to Expo '67 with the band. Carl’s Professional music training was at Humber College, then travelled for many years with various artists.   Carl’s most influential and learning experience was working with Tom Banks (now Senator Banks) as a member of his band as well as his music Calligrapher while living in Edmonton, from 1978-1982, participating in numerous television specials and syndicated shows. Carl returned to Ontario in 1982 and started a big band which has been going strong for the last 26 years. That Band is now called the Intuitive Innovations Big Band and does performances in the Greater Toronto Area.   Carl also enjoys stretching out with his smaller combo’s such as his Duo, Trio and sextet. The sextet has participated in the Burlington Sound of Music Festival since Parade since 2007 and the Street fest for the last two years.

danceScape was founded by Canadian and North American Amateur Standard Ballroom Champions Robert Tang & Beverley Cayton-Tang in 2001.  At their Pine Street Ballroom facility they provide dance learning programs for the “absolute beginner” to professional.  With appearances on Dragon’s Den, CBC, VIVA and W-Network, Robert will be featured in a national television campaign for ParticipACTION.  Their community outreach extends to “Celebrate the Brant Inn” at the Waterfront in downtown Burlington in July, quarterly open houses, Downtown Streetfest and events in support of several community organizations.

Founded in 2008, this local band consists of eighteen talented musicians between the ages of 14 and 19, from various high schools in the Burlington, Oakville and surrounding Halton area. "High Rendition Jazz" is under the musical direction of co-directors Darryl Eaton and Dan Glowala.   In 2009, High Rendition Jazz was awarded Gold standings at both the Golden Horseshoe MusicFest and MusicFest Canada in the Instrumental Jazz Division. They repeated their gold again this year at the Golden Horseshoe MusicFest and hope to repeat at MusicFest Canada in May in Ottawa as well.   High Rendition Jazz has performed at the Oakville Waterfront Festival, the Oakville Jazz Festival, Relay for Life at Appleby College and at the City of Burlington's "Music in the Park" summer concert series.
