What's New this Year?

Get ready for Four Fabulous Days of Free Music, a fantastic line-up and all your favourite Festival activities await!

To make the most of your visit, be sure to visit the Mohawk College Welcome Centres for your Festival information, located at the main entrances to the park and on Brant St at James.

New this year…

  • The Burlington Hyundai Community Stage has moved back to behind the Waterfront Hotel, and it’s a solar powered stage!
  • We’ve added a performance pod on John Street, check out the Beach Party themed entertainment and ambience on Saturday. There is also a performance area at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre Friday and Saturday.
  • Check out the Skateboard Demos brought to you by Burlington Scion on Brant Street by Upper Canada Cinemas all weekend long, as well as award winning movie shorts by Movieola Friday evening
  • The Crafter’s Marketplace is on this year at Joseph Brant Museum Friday to Sunday.
  • The shuttle bus from the GO station will be running on Thursday to Sunday this year.

PRESENTING SPONSOR

VOLUNTEERS
Along with the sponsors, the reason this festival can be brought to you FREE is due to the hard work, patience and perseverance of the Volunteers. Do you know this Festival starts planning next year’s event the day after this one finishes? Over 100 people actively work on the event throughout the year and the Board itself works 11 months – not to mention the more than 500 Volunteers that work Festival weekend.

FAMILY ZONE
For all kinds of family fun, be sure to visit the Family Zone on Saturday and Sunday. There’ll be a number of children’s performers on the Gazebo stage as well as plenty of fun activities for kids of all ages.

MUSIC EDUCATION
There a still a few spots left for “Taking it to the Streets”, our free music education workshops happening out of the Burlington Art Centre on Saturday, June 18. Check the soundofmusic.ca for registration information. Support provide by Burlington Mall and the Government of Ontario.

GRAND FESTIVAL PARADE
The Grand Festival Parade is a wonderful tradition here at the Festival. It happens on Saturday June 18th starting at 11:00am from Central Park. From here it heads along New St and James St to City Hall, then goes north on Brant St. Join us!

DOWNTOWN STREETFEST
Check out Downtown Burlington’s street-level performances, outdoor patios, sidewalk sales and dance demonstrations.
