Things You Should Know

  1. We are a very Green Festival. Please see our Simply Green page in this Program. Help us our by putting your waste in the proper receptacle.
  2. Water bottle refilling - as part of our Green initiatives, please bring your refillable bottle or buy one on-site and use our convenience refilling station.
  3. Bikes - ride your bike to the Festival. Please dismount when you get to the Festival and lock it up on the street or check in at our secure Bike Corral.
  4. Parking is limited Downtown -- Try our Shuttle Program or take the Transit bus or GO from home.
  5. Security - any visitors are advised not to bring glass bottles/weapons-knives/alcohol to the Festival. All visitors are subject to search and if any items are found are subject to removal from the Festival.
  6. Privacy - as the Festival is a public event, for promotion and security we will be taking pictures and video.
  7. Smoking - Non-smoking areas are planned for future. For this year we are encouraging all guests to be considerate of your fellow Festival visitors. There will be no smoking in front of the stages and in the Family Zone.
  8. Accessibility - the Festival will be training all volunteers on the new Ontario legislation. In addition we have an ongoing project to make the Festival accessible to all.
  9. Weather - note under severe weather e.g. lightning, the show will cease and the park will be evacuated.
  10. Dogs - please do not bring your pets. We all love them however the heat, the crowds, the food, potentially other dogs are all factors that are not doing your pet any favours.
  11. This is an outdoor Festival, in the event of severe weather, the Festival will cease operations until it is safe to resume.  Remember your sunscreen!
